Ant-Man: The movie turned out to be a whole lot of fun. The humour worked PHENOMENALLY well and some of the characters in the film are truly hilarious. Plenty of references to the larger marvel cinematic universe. The plot was largely shallow and generic but the fight sequences were really...
Our reviews combined with Rotten Tomatoes 98% and IMDB 8.8, what exactly are you waiting for! :D I just came back from my second time, and I can confirm, it holds up just as well.
The comparison is natural considering Avengers and FF have been the most talked about action movies of the year so far. Mad Max, through its excellence in style and plot inception, takes things to such new heights that it makes all those action movies in recent memories feel generic and...
Mad Max: Fury Road.
In-Fucking-CREDIBLE. Absolutely incredible. Genre defining spectacle. Mind-boggling stunts. Surprisingly emotional, and had me lingering long after the credits roll. This is the kind of movie that makes me appreciate cinema as an art. The performances were killer, the action...
Invested 24 hours into this game in 4 days and finished the story. Could not put this shit down. My eyes need a break. The story was fantastic; these three characters are the best Rockstar has ever produced.
Avengers: Age of Ultron
+Action segments are great
+Fantastic visual effects
+Each character's given good screen-time
+The vision
+Good background development on some characters
-Unnecessary Romance
-Ultron wasn't nearly as menacing a villain as I expected
-Loopholes and unexplained events...
Whiplash: Blew my f*cking mind. J.K Simmons is up for a whole slew of awards after this jaw-dropping performance. This movie is gonna go down as a classic, for sure. 9.5/10
You can get a whole variety of proteins from GNC, but expect yourself to be substantially overcharged, even with their 'membership discounts.' I think they charge around 4.5k~ with member ship for a 2lb bucket. I've found some other places with cheaper prices but you'll have to look for them...
I've used a gyro-copter plenty of times to land right on top of a tower for a shortcut. It usually falls off because I pull off a loose landing but it saves me the hassle of climbing.
So far, I feel the game isn't developing its villains very well. There's barely any work done on their character development up until the moment you encounter them. Feels very detached. Aside from that, I'm pretty damn hooked to this game. Finding it very hard to put it down.
You and I both, brother! I actually like the fact that the movie isn't for everyone. It makes it more personal and less of a mainstream movie with all its edges smoothed out. More of an exclusive experience.
This game definitely gets a plus for authenticity with all those curse words, that's for sure. Being spotted by the enemy isn't as frustrating anymore, considering you're greeting by a 'OYEEEEEEEE BH*********D!!!!!!!'
There is a LOT of 'Oye bh*****d' in this game, makes me laugh every time. The game is pretty much more Far Cry 3 so far but I'm facing a lot micro-stuttering issues. The map is also entirely black for some reason. Anyone getting this on the pc version?
It's already become one of my all-time favourites. My top ten movies of all time would probably consist of Nolan and Tarantino alike. :D
A lot of people seemed to have a problem with the last 15mins/ending of the film. For me, that was the real impact the whole film delivered.
Man, the movie has had an emotional impact on me; something similar to what I had when I watched Inception and Into the Wild. Honestly, this movie is gonna be a hit or miss with people.
Let's keep this discussion in the Interstellar thread though, this thread is becoming that in itself.
I went to see it three times, I haven't experienced any such audio issue (Twice in Imax, one without). Maybe it's just the cinema hall you guys were at.
manigamer, the movie seemed like a combination of Sunshine, Inception, and Gravity. Come on, it's justified a rewatch, hasn't it? I'm curious, how did people there react to the film. There were people being all emotional on this side.
Actually, I'm sure you won't be the only one. Numerous people I talked to after the movie didn't understand the plot entirely, and that's why I think Nolan was overreaching his audiences' ability to comprehend. It's not a movie for everyone so it should be interesting to see how people pool in...
Is it just me or people lately seem to defend every bad game design decision made by the devs and try to give bullshit reasons for that? Or perhaps it's because I'm on reddit and discord
