So I'm a bit confused. My friend has the Canon digital IXUS 100 IS and I somehow find it better. It's 12.1mp, 720 video recording, smaller, better color swap, sharper images. I'm wondering why is the canon S5IS so expensive?
Err.. I've no idea what spot metering is. However I fiddled a bit with the settings. Put it in manual mode. Set the iso to 100, set the shutter speed to 1/100 and the aperture something to F2.7. Now if I make the shutter stay open longer for instance 1/40 or 1/20 then the cars will be a blur. And if I reduce it for instance 1/200 then the image comes out too dark.
