yep it would require a play and charge kit to sync if the controller wasn't already synced with xbox. The other method which is difficult but easy for me(as I am a electronics student) to a use a microcontroller to translate rf command from x360 controller to syncing, this will save me from buying a play and charge kit.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.
