Can't say im particularly happy with series S numbers across many games. Advertised as 1440p console while it even drops below 1080p (which should be a minimum resolution in 2021 unless it's a handheld)

Sorry Pasha, looks like Halo is continuing that trend. SS Quality mode is 1080p/30 and Perf mode is dynamic 1080p/60. It feels like it can definitely do higher than that in Halo. The MP Beta had a 120 FPS mode but the current SP and MP builds have taken that out. Maybe it'll be reinstated at launch.
The One X smokes its ass with ~4K/30 in Quality and ~1440p/60 in Performance right now.

It really is disappointing. I often feel as if they are intentionally gimping the smaller console as to widen the gap between the series X and S. I mean, its kinda unbelievable that on a next gen ryzen 8 core powered console they need to drop the resolution below 1080p just to get 60 fps? :/
The CPU makes it be a rock solid 60 but I think the Series S GPU and RAM pool is where it takes a hit.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.
