umm, building (leg) muscle = building (leg) muscle = run faster given you don't add weight in other parts of your body :/

You think building the muscle that actually allows you to run is gonna slow you down?

Christopher Lee dies at the age of 93.

I don't like the original post as it does not mention his role in Jinnah, which If I remember correctly, he claimed to be his favorite.

You make some good points, but there are also some things you mentioned again I completely disagree with. I guess at the end of the day, it comes down to how badly you want it. We do have different mentalities which shows in our approaches to OP's post. I love working out, and I am willing to...

My problem is with that mentality, your mentality. Thinking that using protein powder would give you "quick gains" is absolutely naive if not stupid. Even if I had not taken protein powder, I would still have gained similar body mass (perhaps 1-2 lbs less) but similar. In your post, you...

I completely disagree, you can absolutely gain muscle in three months. Ofcourse you cannot become a proper bodybuilder in 3-6 months, that takes years, but putting on 15-20 lbs of muscle in the first 3 months, is not that hard (I did it). The main reason in your diet that I can think of that...

If you have been lifting for a while, do Arnold's Blueprint, I have done that twice now with great results.

that's the dumbest comment I have read, the person just wanted to know if there were any such things, and there are. Whether he decides to use them or not, is up to him. I personally wouldn't recommend it, but if someone decides to do it, that's their choice. I have nothing against it.

It's been a while since I gave my A-Level exams but I remember the key was just practicing as much as you can (past papers). No I did not join any academy and frankly I would not recommend it at all. Just go to all your classes, read your assigned book/s whenever you can and when the time comes...

I think you can still workout in Ramadan just not as much, I am down to a 3 day cycle instead of a regular 5-6 day one and I haven't lost any considerably muscle but I haven't gained any either, which was expected. I think you just need to hit all the body parts once and also do some compound...

I think it was the Giantbomb GOTY debate or maybe the Easy Allies one. They were talking about how the turn-based combat in LAD lacks depth, and is the weakest part of the game.
The GB crew all love it, it was their 2nd best game of the year after Hades. The only combat related issues they highlighted was that sometimes characters can get stuck on scenery cause the environments are still the same brawler combat based, not designed around turn based. Don't follow easy allies so not sure what they said about the game.

  • CerebralTiger CerebralTiger:
But yeah, I'd probably play it for the worldbuilding, lore, characters

I will give it my 100% recommendation. It is as charming, if not more so, than Judgment in terms of lore, world building and especially characters.

@Chandoo I'd like to get Yakuza: LAD at some point (preferably when the PS5 patch arrives), but everyone says the combat is kinda bad. What are your thoughts on this? I enjoyed Judgment's combat, but not sure about the switch to turn-based.
I don't know why anyone would say it's "bad". It's a traditional JRPG, so if someone likes any form of turn based JRPGs, this will fit well with them.
