  • Possible way you could save money are:

Get i3 2100 instead of i5 2400 if you are willing to sacrifice some bits of performance. But get i5 2400 for best possible experience. I'd advice you to wait till atleast June because Ivy Bridge would be available and that will lower processor prices even more!

Get 6950 instead of GTX560Ti. It will be cheaper and will give slightly more performance.

Get lower space HDD and save money. My 500 GB is currently getting wasted despite it having 20+ games installed -__-.
If you are building from scratch, then yes it would be around 65000 RS if you want maximum possible BF3 experience (no jerking at all, best graphics, no stuttering etc).

On my i3 2100, when I die the scene suddenly changes to some other area. My PC suddenly hangs for 3 or 4 seconds there. Then continues to stutter for 15 or so seconds until that area is fully loaded.

So if you are willing to sacrifice a little bit, get i3 2100 instead of i5 2400 and save 7000 RS.

Its only this BF3 game, and GTA IV that have not run on maximum settings on my rig (made for 47000 RS, using older HDD instead of new one).
    Motherboard: P8H61-MLX = 6400 RS.
    Processor: i5 2400 = 18000 RS.
    RAMs: 3 GB DDR3, 3000 RS.
    Graphic Card: GTX560Ti = 25000 RS.
HDD: Prices vary, Could be for 6000 RS for 500 GB.
Case: Your choice, 2000 to 3000 RS ones.
    PSU: Delta 530W, 2500 RS.
Fans and other accessories: 1000 RS.

    Total ~~ 63000 RS.

I suggest you get 6950 1 GB. Its not available at Galaxy right now but would give you 5% better FPS in games compared to GTX560Ti. It would be 3000 RS cheaper too.

Similarly, if you could use your current HDD, you would save 6000 RS.

If you would use your current case (considering its big enough), you could save another 2000 or so RS.

For Power Supply, you will need to find that exact one in PG Market Place, otherwise you will have to spend a further 2000 RS to find Antec ones. Delta uses Antec parts, so both are same, apart from price difference. I suggest you get Delta 530W.
bro would if i could but if the PS3 isnt gone then i wont sale.BUT if the PS3 IS sold, thenthe game is urs. Thats why its gona be a whole lota complicated if the game is reserved for u and the PS3 isnt sold.
..................holy shit..my last VM to you was supposed to be a page loong, wtf is wrong with this site?? anyways in my last VM i said that i have made a deal for the PS3,will do it on Friday,if it goes through,i will ship you the game on the same day (after recieving the cash) of course :)
bro if ur gona give online codes with it then just 500rs :p ANyways i just got a really good offer for trade with a gaming rig of my PS3,if it goes through then i will the game to you at 3.5K fnf without any other charges.
bro its a FAR FAR possibilty in case i need urgent need cash, but if not then id rather trade with other games. If u would be willing then i can trade BF3 if its region 2 (without the online codes). But i know its ur life line and stuff but whatever.Ur choice. 4K with shipping or 2K plus BF3 without online codes for MW3. I also know the rates bro,i traded my last copy of BF3 for MW3 with 2.5K cash without the codes :) Taha sold his copy of BF3 for 2.5K too :)
then its most probably sold too.I think nomi bought it but i could be wrong.Anyways my offer is open in case u dont find another buyer.

That's good to know. Not really a fan of subtitles.

and the game has a surprisingly solid english localization with accurate lip sync. I played it with the english VA. Felt dirty playing Yakuza in English at first but got used to it real quick.

Well, I guess I'll get it then. Once the PS5 update is out, that is. Hopefully there's a sale around that time

Ichiban is one of the best new protagonist in games this year, such a fun dude.

I think it was the Giantbomb GOTY debate or maybe the Easy Allies one. They were talking about how the turn-based combat in LAD lacks depth, and is the weakest part of the game.
The GB crew all love it, it was their 2nd best game of the year after Hades. The only combat related issues they highlighted was that sometimes characters can get stuck on scenery cause the environments are still the same brawler combat based, not designed around turn based. Don't follow easy allies so not sure what they said about the game.

  • CerebralTiger CerebralTiger:
But yeah, I'd probably play it for the worldbuilding, lore, characters

and not tied to the baggage of 7 previous Yakuza games makes it a great entry for newcomers or people who haven't played every single game in the franchise

I will give it my 100% recommendation. It is as charming, if not more so, than Judgment in terms of lore, world building and especially characters.

@Chandoo I'd like to get Yakuza: LAD at some point (preferably when the PS5 patch arrives), but everyone says the combat is kinda bad. What are your thoughts on this? I enjoyed Judgment's combat, but not sure about the switch to turn-based.
I don't know why anyone would say it's "bad". It's a traditional JRPG, so if someone likes any form of turn based JRPGs, this will fit well with them.

dont think so. Seems to be the same input duplicated on both screens... unless you specifically switch to one as the active one

pre loaded but won't play yet, DF said they contacted the devs about frame pacing and the devs said they're working on it for the next patch

  • CerebralTiger CerebralTiger:
Yeah, most likely. The way the entire scene changes in an instant in single-screen mode is pretty cool. Have you downloaded it?

to be fair one window in MGS 4 was running a scripted Vamp/Raiden fight. Medium seems to have active game play with RT and individual full screen effects in both of its windows, so its a lot more ambitious :p
