    Thank you however I would require a bit of work on your part, you'll have to deactivate the account from your PS3.

    Log in to the user and sign in with the details I provided, go to account management > system activation > PS3 > game > deactivate.

    This will then hand over the account back to me :)

    I am not so knowledgeable about all this as I keep going in circles with my own plans, to be honest. Based on the discussions in the Accountants thread, Ive concluded that Saudi Arabia/Qatar are the best places to go to in regards to low cost of living and experience opportunities as an ACCA.

    I have been told that a world cup event is coming up in Qatar so lots of people have been investing in their treasuries as a result. This has paved way for more job opportunities courtesy of the booming economy.

    As for Saudi Arabia, it has the added advantage due to minimal tax rates which accounts for really cheap cost of living. It does come at the expense of a more stringent lifestyle, ofcourse. Personally, I wouldn't want to settle in a place that ties one down with its strict laws but oh well, people would do that for a living.

    Moreover, what do you think is better, CA of the respective countries or a Masters degree in Finance/Applied Finance (on the basis of my OBU BSc degree) after I move to Canada or Australia?

    One of these might be a viable alternate for CPA, don't you think? That way I won't even have to do ICAEW to take any shortcuts.

    Kindly also let me know if you think the unis in the two countries will accept the 3-year BSc degree if I am to enrol in a Post Graduate course.

    I have been thinking about CFA after ACCA but that seems like a really long journey. I am in no mood to study for so long and enrol in qualifications/courses that take another eternity like ACCA. Having said that, I am wondering if I should consider internship in some firm for half a year or so AFTER completing ACCA and then moving to Qatar or Saudi Arabia for employment for a while.

    With some experience under my belt, I can then apply to Australia or Canada and use the CGA or MRA membership to my benefit (assuming I would be a full ACCA member by then). In saying so, I am assuming that I would take papers P4 and P7, NOT P6. It's just that I have never really been interested by tax so I plan to go by interest. :p How would the scenario differ in that case?

    I had been wondering if the (3-year) OBU BSc degree had any significance in countries like Australia and Canada where BSc usually spans 4 years (assuming).
    If you are right about Australia and Canada recognizing it, I shall write the thesis next session by all means.

    Are you convinced that CPA really carries lots of worth. There were forums where people had completely disregarded and said that they have seen cases where employers were not concerned about CPAs at all; instead, they preferred ACCA members.
