    I started Moth Smoke today. Loving the book thusfar. Mohsin Hamid has a very good sense of humour. The book made me smile quite a few times. The only thing I dislike a bit is that sometimes MH gets too verbose with the descriptions.

    Messengers in the Quran - this is for the people who say Muhammad (saw) wrote the book Quran. That Islam is mohammedanism. Muhammad's name is mentioned only 5 times in the book. If anyone was looking to glorify himself wouldn't he mention himself quite a many times more than that?

    Remember when the cartel up north's go-between starts sniping Gustav's men outside his poultry farm? Jesse is saved by Mike sprinting and pushing him and then they both take cover. Gustav hearing the gunshots comes out from a container and keeps walking despite the shots. All shots miss him because obviously Gus's power level was too high. I really liked that scene.
