    Well it's more like an alternate timeline where you can or can't change the events of the original. Depends on what the devs decide to do. It can take 3 parts or more due to the change. I'd rather have the original remake than playing a kiddy story where you can alter the events and save everyone you love.

Will play when the the complete game is out. In the meantime, the original FF7 is still good enough to play as long as you priorities story/gameplay over graphics.
