  • I watched the trailer yesterday. The game looks very nice but it's on Ps4 and I won't be getting that anytime soon.
    The Raid: Redemption
I watched a few scenes of MBMH and hands down, it is just as funny as you said. I laughed out loud on two occasions. Thank you for recommending me the show. Much appreciated.
    That was a nice video.

"What's the need of these over whelming curses."
I am going to wager the translators translate the dialogue as such (with a lot of cuss words) so as to be like the American movies. And the american gangster-type movies are not lacking in cuss words of any sort.
"Agreed. There are gangs so that's no surprise. Even if people have'nt encountered them, we know they exist. And they mostly are filed with psycopaths."
^ This. And we all are aware of the "target killings" going on. They are an ugly story and believe me, no one in their right mind wants to see them or encounter the killers.

"Well, will you ever watch this anime?"
In a few years, yes. But not for quite a while because I know SnK is going to go on for quite a while.

"...Almost every sentence either starts with 6th letter, or ends with it."
^ This is because the translators of movies sometimes go very liberal with the translation. Liberal as in kay translators normal words ko exaggerate kartay hain dramatic effect kay liay. To korean may agar koi banda kahay, "Tum mar jao" it would be translated as, "Go eff off and die, you piece of shit" or something like that. I don't like this either. These east-asian languages are not that filthy. They hardly have any curse words.
If you want good fights then all you ever need is "The Raid: Redemption". I cannot insist on enough how good the fights in this movie are. And they are actually long. There aren't any explosions like the ones you see in Hollywood movies. Explosion and every enemy dies. No. Here, the fights are hand to hand. And the fights are looong. Every bad guy holds his own against the main characters meaning the bad guys don't simply die when they get punched once like in Hollywood movies. Good news for you the fights are not bloody or gory at all. Yes, there are a few shootouts but most are melee fights. It is my favorite action movie along with "Street Kings", the movie of Keanu Reeves.
I myself was recommended the Raid: redemption by a friend. I was totally not expecting to love the movie this much when I watched it. It is fantastic.
Sorry, my mistake. The name of the movie is A Bittersweet Life. I don't know how I got the name mixed up.
As far as I can tell, these movies have a lot of violence because they are depicting the gangster/mobster life. Which we are not exposed to since we come from respectable homes. This stuff happens in real life. Only it's not explicitly shown on news because it is considered morally degenerative and no one wants their children to grow up being exposed to such negative aspects of life.

"Yes there is. But it's not very reactive in terms of information. Ofcourse, no one can afford to spoil the best anime of all times(to-be best anime)."
Most discussion threads on shounen anime are like that.

"Loadshedding is the only thing in the country that works in accordance with the guideline-principles of this country"
    True
I didn't know people would be put off by violence in this age. Sorry for the simplistic view. I presumed everyone by now would be desensitized to violence since we see violent imagery every other day now. You know, the constant bombings in Pakistan, target killing and violence is ever prevalent in all media like games and films.

"A Beautiful life" also has a lot of violence so I don't know if you will like it. Cautioning you in advance.

There's a thread of Shingeki no Kyojin in the anime section here too. Popular stuff.

Loadshedding is a horrible curse on any country. For the economy, more so.

Okay, thank you. I will keep the game in mind.
    I'll check the game out. Don't know if it will run on my laptop since the laptop I am using is a business laptop. It is hard to run any games on this laptop. ;_;
It was very tough last month. Now the situation has greatly improved. The problem before was that not even the UPS got enough time to recharge itself so we ended up with the UPS dying on us in 30-69 mins. And we had to spend 3 more hours without a ups. Only the energy-saver bulbs worked and studying with sweat was a real challenge.

I understand. Everyone is short on time nowadays. So feel free to check them out whenever. No need to rush.

I would really appreciate if you watch these videos. Please!

Laptop. Though my laptop's resolution is high - 1680x1050. So it's pretty much HD. Thus, I suppose I should go for the tv show in hd as well.
    Agree with everything you said.

That's unfortunate. I had hoped you would like "I Saw the Devil". Out of curiosity, what about the movie turned you off? If you remember, that is.

Nope. First time hearing of it. The movie has a 100% rating on rotten tomatoes so it must be "veeery" good. Added to queue. I really like crime-drama/crime-thriller films so I am all for watching it.

Ah, I know. Shingeki no Kyojin is very popular everywhere. It's the talk of the town. Sadly, thing is that due to some unfortunate family circumstances I can't afford to spend time watching anime so that's why I'm not approaching anything anime-related. It's not at all that I think that anime have become low-quality nowadays or anything like that. I am just on a self-imposed exile from anime for some time.
WATER PRISON - Ys Origin - from the game "YS Origin". I would would highly, HIGHLY recommend you to play this game on your PC. It doesn't need a strong PC to run. Proof is that it ran fine on my laptop.
Blue Light Yokohama by Ishida Ayumi - really nice song from 1969/1968. I heard it first in the Japanese movie "Still Walking". It is one of my favorite Japanese movie now. Don't know if you will like it. It's mostly a slice of life journey.

Can you use Youtube through a proxy now? Tell me if you can. I have a few videos to share.
Name noted. I will queue that movie now too.

That's strange. Everyone else whom I told to watch "I Saw the Devil" loved it. Maybe you disliked it because of the taboo subjects the movie depicts or maybe due to the excessive violence. But it all served a purpose. The end lesson of the story is that you will make the wrong choices when you are consumed by revenge. The movie is without doubt very R-rated.

No compulsion. Feel free to watch them whenever you have spare time. No rush. I was just reminding you so that you don't forget about those movies.

They are going fine. Loadshedding nay bus bohat masla kia hai. Sab say mushkil papers kay doran to 4 hours kay power cuts aur 1 hour electricity milti thi. Un ka darr laga hua hai. My last exam is on the 12th June.
Alright, I queued the Kurosagi movie. MBMH and Eiga Kurosagi up next!
By the way, should I watch My Boss My Hero in HD or will normal tv resolution episodes be enough?

    "That was a joke."
Haha, okay. I didn't take it too seriously, though.

"THey wont stop fighting. No chances so far. Just like their names (Northj and south), everything among them is totally inverse."
Sort of like us Muslims. Shia, sunni, Ahmaddiya and so on. Then the christians as well: Evangelists, Protestants, Catholics, and Jehovah's witnesses etc. It's funny how divided every one. And totally stupid. If you ask me, there should be only ONE country in the whole world. With freedom for all, the positive sort of freedom not the "I can do whatever I want. This is freedom of speech. I can say whatever I want to say about Islam/Allah/Christianity/Hindus etc".
But I admit, the Koreas are far worse off. They are at each other's throats with guns and knives.
"Also, there was that bullshit that south korean had hidden atomic assets and they were so much advanced(although they were made years ago) that if they started working on them, they'd outclass those of pakistan's and indian."
    Lol. Korea cha gaya.
If the two Koreas stop the infighting among themselves maybe, just maybe they would progress. And North Korea needs to replace its awful dictators with people who don't try to sneak to disneylands in Japan to have fun, wasting the people's hard payed taxes.

Did you get time to watch "I Saw the Devil", "A Beautiful Life" or "Memories of Murder"?
I liked Kurosagi enough, but not as much as you did. I just checked and I don't think I have watched the sequel movie of Kurosagi. I will get around to it soon. Maybe watching the movie might improve my opinion on the series.
Ohhh... if MBMH has great comedy then I am all the more interested. I will get to it asap after exams.

    "^Tmhara mera mazak ha?"
Um... nahi. Meray khayal may meri sentence structure ki waja say ye misunderstanding ho gai. Future may dhayan rakhon ga.
"Seriously ! You scheduled consultation with a doctor?"
Hahaha, are you joking with me?
I was simply saying that I am tired of watching movies and want to take a little break. I am alright though. Nothing wrong with me. :)
The highlight of the show was, of course, Hiroshi Abe. Flawless acting like always. And his character's personality was unique. In that he was strict and frank with every student of his that the students started to take him as a "cold bastard". But we could see that he deeply cared for the students and wanted them to succeed. Like one of the students said, "I could see him crying rivers inside." in reply to when the female teacher "Ino" when she asked the student why he stopped short of hitting him and at that time Sakuragi was being cold to Nagasawa Masami's character. Can't remember her character's name.
    Amazing tv show.
Dragon Zakura is easily one of the best J-drama I have watched and one of the only dramas I will ever watch again. Usually I don't watch most series or movies twice, but not DZ. I will watch it again, and again. The TV show gives a really good reality check about how life works and it's not as easy as people often take it to be. The best thing about the show is that it also doubles as a self-help program. Telling/teaching us a lot of moral lessons which was the best-est thing about the tv show and it gives a lot of reminders. The teaching techniques that Sakuragi and other teachers use are actually better. I have read a lot of articles on learning and teaching and most of the methods in the drama are explained in the researched articles. That is also to say that the tv show makers actually did a lot of research and explored about teaching.
I will watch it in a while. I have watched a lot of movies these past few days and am tired. Strangely, now I just want to study and read. So it might take some time for me to get around to it.

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.

What is peoples obsession with Battle Royale genre. 6 minutes to find a match, 3 minutes to setup a match, 2 minutes to land, 10 minutes for scavanging maybe 2 3 gunfigts and its over. Multiplayer landscape is looking absolute dogshit.
I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.

After I watched it, I never felt like i watched a show. It was a friggin journey. I got way too attached to Thorfinn and seeing him grow up and find himself and get rid of all the negativity inside of him was just pure bliss.

With how great cod warzone has translated onto mobile. Mainstream Consoles have lost its value even further. Maybe console gaming was associated with TVs and how TV is not the primary source of media consumption anymore, consoles will lose its 200 million core audiences even further.
