I am stating these VN's because they have amazing soundtracks that play in the background (bgm music) and the graphics are really good as these vn's are pretty new so you will get highly detailed CG.
You probably got bored as FSN usually has a dull starting, or because the music might not have been interesting to you or maybe just because the graphics were old. So that is why I have recommended to you the above VN's, they are really good for a start.
Or if you want to vent out your immense anger on "Rin" then play the VN of "Shuffle!" to get the other routes.
I had kind of imagined that this may happen ie the VN of F/SN may bore you or it will be hard for you to get used to it. Actually the VN of FSN is pretty old and the vn is the only reason that fsn got gain so much glory. The anime is considered shit in comparison to the vn.

If you have a good pc then it is better that you download the 720p version from utw's website or from BakaBt. Because the bitrate is low in the minitheatre episode encodes, which I don't like.

The first drama that I had decided to watch was of "Great Teacher Onizuka" and then "1 Litre no Namida" (aka 1 Litre of Tears.) I just saw a glimpse of 1 Litre no Namida and got a bit teary-eyed. Let's just say I am weak at heart but I am always cheerful but I always lose hope at the smallest of things.
Devoted? No, it's like I have made anime and a bit of the japanese culture related to it, a part of my life. Which is indeed bad.
You can say that I love tragedic anime and those which involve drama! But I can watch any anime overall except for the Yaoi (boy's-love) anime at the moment.
Lelouch obviously, my favourite protagonist of all-time. How can I not love him dearly, but to tell you the truth it was my second anime and I accidentally read bad spoilers and after that I was so frustrated. If I go to heaven, I would request Allah to clear out my memory of the anime and I will watch it again.
Oh and add this to my previous message too. That Himura and Yuuko after that tragedy worked for the happiness of others and making them go out together. They sacrificed their happiness for the sake of others. Really touching, awww Yuuko for the win and Himura too!

I have watched Ef, the second season was better. I only liked the tragic story of Yuu and Yuuko, rest of the characters were mostly dull and lame. I actually cried at the tortures that Yuuko faced! I have watched Da Capo first season, Da Capo ~ Second Season is on hold. Da Capo II soon enough!

well I haven't seen much movie but one I'm looking forward to is Fate Stay/Night Unlimited Blade works. Was shown in Japan in cinemas on 23rd January and when it'll be released on DVD I'm sure it'll be translated and available for download. As far as anime series are concerned I'm about to finish Phantom ~Requiem for the Phantom~ very nice series with great animation and music.
Hmmm....I don't remember telling you that one as I haven't seen it but if you haven't seen then see Garden of Sinners (Kara no Kyou Kai) 7 part OVA. last part came out in December. I myself have only seen three parts and it is great...animations is stunning and has nice scenery too.. albeit in city
