    Your question is fine but it might be a bit long to reply here. Though you could always use another variable name(like m ... assuming it as a number) solve the quadratic equation and just write the solution. There is nothing wrong with that.

    It is quite routine. You can just about look it up in any textbook (or on internet). You just write a quadratic equation (like m^2-m+1=0) and solve for roots. There are simple "recipe" solutions for equal roots(that is only one root when b^-4ac=0) and unequal roots. For unequal roots when the quantity in square-root is negative(b^2-4ac<0) then you can further re-write/simplify the solution in the form of a sine cosine expression.

    But why are you asking such a simple question? I suggest maybe make a help/assistance thread for simple questions like these? Because lot of people can answer/help on these sort of questions.

    Well they haven't upgraded the graphics yet, so it should run fine. Plus, you can always tone down the settings. :p
