[Podcast # 11] NOW LIVE !!!

To all the haters....these guys take time out of their busy schedule to bring you a podcast every 2 weeks....granted, the Q&A section is somewhat pointless, but is that really their fault?....even after countless notifications and whatnot, a lot of you guys still inquire about game release dates and updates on their production, knowing that the podcast team is comprised of gaming enthusiasts just like you....they aren't developers or industry analysts, people!

For example, some one asks "When will the next Mortal Kombat game get released?"....how exactly would the podcast team know when the MK developers themselves don't know if there's going to be another one lol

A more sensible approach in this regard would be to ask "What kind of gameplay changes do you think the next MK game should incorporate, in order for it to get the SF4 kind of rejuvenation?"

we ( I ) do mention blackbasara by name when talking about GOW3 for the little zing effect so he's kind of a anti-celebrity here I imagine

and yeah the guest thing is a very good idea, definitely something worth looking into

@CT: :lol: @ MK question...and why would you wanna waste time on suggesting what the next MK should have considering that there is no news about it

Is a Q&A segment really needed though?

- We can't ask about release dates
- Can't ask about forum thingies (newb stuff)
- Can't ask about cheats/tricks/shortcuts in games
- Can't ask about useless stuff

I can't think what would we ask about that we can't already find :s

The only thing that might require input from users would be requests for discussion on certain things like a game or new tech

Oh! Can the podcast have a tiiiiiny segment in which 1 or 5 tricks of some games are told (5 tricks in total) ... I understand that might be pretty noob stuff but who knows...maybe you guys know tricks that a lot of users don't

and while we're at it, can there be video reviews of some things? For example new hardware/consoles for example those uber ultra coolers and cases with LEDs that guys in the HW section buy? Half of us (or maybe only me) don't even know what's the use of buying such an uber case if its functionality isn't any different from the Rs.1500 300W casing <_<

Questions - spicy ones. Certain questions do spark up discussions.

Just listened to the podcast, it was pretty good, you guys ruined Ahsan's awesome intro though

I certainly agree on the guests part. I believe we did drop a bit of a hint on potential guests being in the upcoming podcast lol

BTW, you guys DO know that we record it all in one take with no considerable pre-planning. We can argue that planning is important etc, but that'll bring about artificialism and kill that spontaneous stuff that goes on. We'll do it in a more controllable fashion though.

We're not even sparing any expenses in flying potential guests from abroad even !

Well I like Podcast v.much because its made by our local peoples & I am listening it from about 3 months but it's really sad to say that Podcast is not growing on it's maturity or development level. It's still where it was started.
No PC hardware or software discussions, No PS3 games discussions ( if done they are in insulting way ), Gaming Industry news is included like cherry for the Topping.
90% discussion & favor to the games is given to XBOX 360
It can't even touch the caliber of Hotspot from gamespot.com or Daily Fix from ign.com

We need no serious discussions but serious ideas, serious involvement & devotion of peoples to this show to make it look like a Gaming Podcast. Listening to it is not boring but it feels like 3,4 teenager sitting in a room & discussing there games with some KFC Fast food.

& the most important I haven't ever seen that much disrespectful & cheap discussing Podcast Crew member as Chandoo

i dont listen PG podcast for the reviews/previews and such.... i listen it just for THAT fun factor...

Actually it was computers in general which started gaming, the first game was never on a PC.

If I remmeber teh dates right ... the first gaming console came LONG before the first PERSONAL COMPUTER (the IBM PC which we are now accustomed to I mean, not the previous ones)

First console was teh chess board :8
