What about Zong?
Haven't tried zong since long. Will try after couple of months.
Ufone on the other hand has 15 MHz contiguous spectrum in 1800 MHz. And their data users are very low because their super card users are not extreme data consumers and their other packages are also expensive. So they have enough free spectrum. I tried their 4G all over faisalabad and in other cities as well and it provides minimum 30 Mbps average speed which is great. Even at my hone their 4G coverage is not available (which according to their 4G coverage map is available and I complained in PTA for misleading coverage maps) still their 3G which I hardly use due to home wifi provides stable 10-15 Mbps speed.
Zong and Jazz 3G has gone bad to worst in comparison. So going for full Jazz monthly super duper package I split my usage between Jazz and Ufone by subscribing Jazz mahana bachat offer (150 Rs. Because my 90% calls are on Jazz) and Ufone 9 GB monthly data package in Rs 550 (also 9 GB for 12 AM-9AM). And I am very satisfied right now.

Not to mention telenor with full signals give 0-1mbps most of the time

No wonder why telenor has cheapest packages with their "Create your own packages"

Also voice quality on telenor is really really bad.
Telenor is making bad decisions one after another. First, they bought only 5 MHz of 2100 MHz for 3G. Secondly, they didn't bought 4G spectrum in 2004 auction. Third, they let Jazz buy Warid 4G without giving any competition and let Jazz become heaviest market player. Fourth, they bought 850 MHz band for 4G which is hardly being used around the world for 4G, and where it is being used, it is with CA of 2300 or 2600 MHz higher frequencies. On top of that they split it into half for 3G and 4G which provided no benefir to their 3G and made their 4G a mess. And now they are making fifth mistake by acquiring 5 MHz for 2100 MHz spectrum. Which will further make their spectrum assets a mess and will cause burden on their financials when 5G auction is coming within next 2 years. I mean what will they do with another 5 MHz of 2100 MHz? To ad it with existing 10+3 MHz spectrum of 850 and 1800 bands? In my opinion it will give no additional benefit to the. Zong will overtake Telenor in subscribers race within next one year.

i am getting 120Mbps + at home since i bought jazz sim feb-2022 and i did speed test on my Aunt's jazz sim and it was giving 120+ back in i think december 2021 or maybe before that. Other than this my home is the only location that gives this much speed in other parts of the city i get max 60Mbps and mostly 5-30mbps.
Edited: Though the upload speed on jazz is exceptionally poor like 0.3Mbps ..

Download speeds are aggregated, not upload. The band your phone connects to (and its signal) determines what potential upload speeds you'll get.

Any updates on the Zong VOLTE? I am getting 'VOLTE Calls Zong' option on my A53 but I am not sure how to test it out since calling from it to Redmi Note 8 (which is on Zong 4G but not VoLTE toggle) switches it 3G.

On the phone which has the VoLTE toggle: enable it, then dial 310. Does it drop down to 3G? Does your internet (not wifi) stop working when on a call?

If the answer to both is "yes", then VoLTE is not yet functional.

I don't know why Pakistani operators don't permit data on 3G when the rest of the world has NO issues whatsoever with call drops/capacity etc. It's just cheaping out on network functionality, and then they'll boast that this is permitted on 4G (but damnit, you don't even support most of the phones anyway!)

The phone does switch back to H+ when calling 310 but the internet keeps on working. I think Zong had no problems with internet during calls as far as I can remember, I might be wrong tho. All in all, eagerly waiting for the VoLTE rollout.

Zong rolled out its VoLTE updates on phones along with Jazz 2-3 years ago. But still they have not enabled VoLTE.
Jazz is also very slow in terms of activating VoLTE. All latest phones launched or updated in last 3 years by all companies in Pakistan supports their VoLTE but they only auto enable VoLTE on Samsung, Huawei or Vivo phones. Xiaomi, Tecno, Infinix phones does support Jazz VoLTE but one has to call help line in order to enable VoLTE.
Telenor on other hand is very slow in rolling out VoLTE. Only handful of Vivo, OPPO, Realme and Samsung devices supports Telenor VoLTE.
And still no news of VoLTE by Ufone.

Telenor wanted more spectrum but in line with the existing timing. Gormint said no. So Telenor said no.

Ufone just bought. They're comfy.

Zong, I believe, had started aggregating bands and upgrading (maybe) their network, so... no?

Jazz is already looking at 3CA.

This was the reason Telenor backed off. According to bloomberg Telenor has put Pakistan business up for sale against $1 billion. Entities from Middle East and Asia (read PTCL and China Mobile) already working in Pakistan will reportedly participate in bidding.
Who do you think should buy Telenor? And why?

I am currently in KSA and on STC. Their VoLTE service is working fine on Xiaomi phones (RN11, Redmi8, RN8) but not on my Samsung A53. The VoLTE option is enabled. Any clues?
