Why is the PC version of this so heavy, it's a game targeting the ancient XBO hardware.
16 FPS on a 1060 and 35 FPS on a 2060 at 1080p. Woof.
SX is running a dynamic 4K at 60 FPS. Looks like it's pushing pretty high above its weight in comparison to the PC version.

XSX is not running PC Ultra preset, uses temporal reconstruction to achieve faux-4K and dips as low as 1800p in Quality mode, and always has VRS enabled, which gives a performance boost but also looks bad in this game. Not really pushing above its weight but rather making a lot of concessions to get 60fps even on XSX.

I dunno man, according to this video, it usually hangs at 1800p in Quality mode and ~1200p in the 120hz mode.
And it's running every setting at High or above going by Alex's video.
Looks like a case where the AMD cards are better equipped to handle this game, and/or the PC version isn't optimized properly.

The engine definitely needs work on all platforms as John highlighted. Series versions freeze for 5 secs for no reason.

We're almost in 2022 now CerebralTiger is still in denial about 8GB VRAM
And this is a cross-gen game. Yikes!!
Meanwhile, the Series X is sporting Ultra textures at 1800p+ like a champ.
And 8GB VRAM was not supposed to be enough 2 years ago. Then again, CerebralTiger didn't even know the difference between allocation and utilization back then. Yikes!!

I dont think games have looked any better since 2019 onwards and they are performing worse and worse. Game developers have really dropped the ball.
