Jason Schrier said 'think Uncharted Lost Legacy'.So it's kind of like Infamous First Light. Not a bad idea to launch with a smaller side project. Insomniac is proving to be a key acquisition for Sony leading into next-gen.
That would be pretty reasonable length. This is the only confirmed launch title from Sony so far. If they can also offer PS5 enhanced versions of major PS4 games like TLOU part II at launch, I'll definitely consider getting the console day 1 (if I can even find one lol).Jason Schrier said 'think Uncharted Lost Legacy'.
https://www.pushsquare.com/news/202..._a_remaster_of_the_2018_game_with_new_contentSpeaking with The Telegraph, Sony Interactive Entertainment’s EVP head of European Business, Simon Rutter explained the situation. "I guess you could call it an expansion and an enhancement to the previous game. There’s a substantial Miles Morales component – which is the expansion element – but also within the game as well there’s been major enhancements to the game and the game engine, obviously deploying some of the major PlayStation 5 technology and features."

The tweet is worded weirdly, it might be a 4K/30 with RT features and a lower rez 1080p with some features off. Needs more clarification from Insomniac.Correct me if I’m wrong, I interpreted as choosing between 4K visuals or 60fps.
if they’re offering 4K 60fps together as a performance mode, then will the native deliverance be of a higher res 30fps?
There's no actual gameplay footage available, but if Miles' traversal speed sees a noticeable increase over Peter's, it's because of the faster I/O that's not available on PS4. Also, the crowd density / NPC count seems higher than in the PS4 game, but again this would be more easily verifiable in actual gameplay footage. It means that the game is needlessly skipping PS4 to get tacked on "reshade presets" features and without them it would be easier to hit 60fps, hence the Performance mode.
Neither of those justify abandoning current gen imo as the short comings of the first game weren't tied to such hardware limitations. There's no actual gameplay footage available, but if Miles' traversal speed sees a noticeable increase over Peter's, it's because of the faster I/O that's not available on PS4.
