SLOW SSD read write speed in core i5 3rd generation

I bought 250gb EVO 860 SSD for 5k from Hafeez Centre Lahore
when i test it in my PC read 250 mbps & write 220 mbps but it should be around 550 according to Google information

so i have question is it fake SSD or my PC have some problem ? when i test my HDD using same software its 190 mbps read and write
any one face same issue ?

Are you sure you are referring to sequential read and writes? Also, how old is your computer? The ssd should be running to the speeds 500+ on Sata 3. If you have an older computer with sata 2, speeds will be half of that, closer to what you are getting.

sorry i forget to mention my PC specification

i have 3rd Generation Core i5 PC

Your mobo has 5 sata 3gbps ports and only 1 sata 6gbps port. Make sure your ssd is connected to that one port.
oh man i had no idea so i talked to seller and sent SSD, my brother will come back after friday with new SSD then i will test it

first of all check ssd health , if it is 100% then there will be some problem with ur pc. If health is less than 100% go back to shopkeeper and tell him to change the ssd with 100% health ssd.
