I'm going to build a PC next year. I have a budget of 1.5 lakh (monitor and accessories included). What is the best setup I can do? My aim is AT LEAST (more is preferred) 60 fps, 1080p at max settings (though I'm fine with really, really heavy games like RDR2 on low/medium settings). I'm also fine with a 60Hz monitor for now. Any help would be appreciated!

Just get a core i5 7 th generation intel ,nvidia 1060 , 8 gb ram ,
a 24 inch monitor and possibly a 256 GB ssd so that you can load your favorite games quickly , 1 tb hdd optional if you have some other games that you are going to play casually .
You should be good to go in that budget .

Is it possible if I tone down on the CPU part and instead invest in a better GPU? Thanks.

Some games are CPU intensive and some games are gpu intensive .so in order to avoid the headache in future it is advisable to have at least a 7th Gen Intel CPU

Go to R&B Tech and game and geeks on FB or in hafeez centre they will guide u best according to your budget and the system u r targeting require 60K max with used parts.

in 150k u can get pretty good rig IMO.

I've heard that used parts are not viable enough for a solid build. This makes me a bit skeptical. Are you sure my PC will last with parts that have already gotten someone else's hands on them?

Processor choice shouldn't even be a debate anymore. Go with a Ryzen 3600. It will match Intel's top processors in gaming for the most part. And its a 6c12t part. I'm using it with a 1080Ti and its fantastic.

The rest? Well, contact one of the many importers here like Sufi Tech Store or Pakiyoungsters, if you don't have someone in the US who can bring you stuff.

Ryzen 3600
MSI B450 Tomahawk
GTX 1660 Super (or whatever you can afford)
16GB Crucial Ballistix Sport (part code should contain AES in the end - Cheap and very OCable RAM)
500GB NVME (preferably imported - Inland Premium or Sabrent Rocket)

Rest of the stuff is upto you.
