No, i can confirm Necro has not played the game 
I'm in Chapter 10 of 15 right now. The game definitely has some flaws but otherwise it justifies it's 84/85 review average just fine. It's more like MGS 5 than previous Kojima scenes, with more emphasis on game play and less on the length of cut-scenes like any MGS game pre 5. The 'social' aspect of the game plays a much bigger role than any of the previews imply. You *need* things other people have built to make traversal in the game easy, otherwise a 5 minute journey will take 20~25 minutes.
Minor spoiler: The whole first half of the game is going from the east coast to the west coast, however now in chapter 10 because of some story things Sam has to go back all the way east again and fast travel is not available. Because I participated in the social aspects and created a shit ton of bridges and zip lines, my journey is 10~ minutes maximum instead of the hour + it would take just running from one end to the other.
