Btw bro I noticed one issue so far that quite often the TV shows that network is not setup and I have to add Wi-Fi password again to connect the TV with the Wi-Fi.

Did you noticed same issue ever? Also any idea if they offer any firmware updates that I can update to in order to get this issue fixed?

Thanks
If you are using WiFi connection then, when you turn ON the TV, wait 5 secs for the TV to connect to WiFi then open Netflix or YouTube or any other internet app, otherwise it will say that no internet and setup now. When I had the TV connected to LAN then there wasn't any wait time.

For fine tuning PQ settings I recommend the highly rated Planet Earth II UHD Blu-ray or this YT Demo.

Me too looking for it. Also I am having an issue in HDR after last update. Brightness is changing too much in dark scenes. Although I have turned off all the options like dynamic contrast, micro dimming etc. But still brightness changes automatically during scenes. Having this problem in HDR videos only. Did you notice same?

From where do you download 4K movies?
Also what's the recommended 4k movie size for better quality? I had a 12gb 4k movie but quality didn't looked super. I'm going to download a 20gb movie now.
Here are verified untouched UHD Discs in BDMV structure, but only a PC or Oppo 203 & 205 can play UHD from BDMV structure. Oppo Blu-ray players have been disctinued and you need a lot of software configuration to run UHD in BDMV structure from a PC. That is why I would recommend 2160p Blu-ray REMUX which is the next best thing. The main movie from the Blu-ray is extracted (without any conversion) and the video files, audio files and subtitles are all packed into a single MKV file. Hisense U7A can play 2160p Blu-ray REMUX from a USB stick without any need of a PC or Blu-ray player. File sizes vary according to the publisher of that Blu-ray, generally UHD Blu-rays of movies which are in HDR10 are around 60GB while UHD Blu-rays of movies which are in Dolby Vision are around 80-90GB. While U7A does not have Dolby Vision, all the movies that have Dolby Vision also have an HDR10 track as well, so U7A will play Dolby Vision movies in HDR.

I don't have C6 and but you can easily calibrate your TV yourself. All you need is some reliable videos that have been created on certified Rec.709 or BT2020 specs. I use this video Reelwood 2019 Demo Clips Collection, don't get scared of the 275GB size, just select the clips you want and download them. For quick cal use https://youtu.be/LXb3EKWsInQ just search COSTA RICA IN 4K 60fps HDR (ULTRA HD) in your TV's YouTube app, the video should automatically run in HDR mode and show BT2020.

I know brightness decreases once it switches to HDR video. I am talking about change in brightness during HDR playback. It changes automatically which is irritating. Specially in dark scenes it decreases brightness although all auto settings are off. And annoying thing is it is too much visible. Like in one scene it keeps on changing brightness itself many times.

That sounds like the system can't keep up with the scene changes and is constantly trying to adjust the backlight. In my U7A, Adaptive Contrast works well and I keep it to default setting of Medium but I keep my Backlight controls to OFF in HDR to get max brightness out of the panel. Don't know what settings does C6 have, try all the settings and see what works best for you.

I have tried all settings. Also done factory reset but in HDR videos brightness keeps on changing. Other then HDR it is ok. I think that is something to do with software update. Before last update it was ok.

"1. the Hisense U7A is 55" and C6 is 49", while C6 55" is even more expensive.
2. Hisense 55U7A has a 120Hz panel with very low input lag, great for gaming, C6 is 60Hz.
3. Hisense 55U7A has more local dimming zones & better PQ (picture quality)
4. C6 has Harmon Kardon sound bar built-in but Hisense only has two speakers at back, sound is good though.
5. Biggest advantage with C6 is that it has Android TV OS, so it has Google play store, Google Play Movies & Music, Google Assistant etc. so you can have a lot of apps, but I haven't tried C6 app store yet, try it first. While Hisense has its own App store which is VERY limited."
Hey, just wanted to ask if this is still the best 4K 55 inch TV in this budget (under 100k), and how is it working out for you still?

The two things that C6 had going for it, I found more info later; Android apps are limited on C6 as well, no PTCL Smart TV app on C6 as well and that sound bar at the bottom, isn't a sound bar, it's just two HK speakers inside a tube made to look like a sound bar, more info from comments by C6 owners in the same thread, you can ask the owners here or audition it in the showroom. As far as my opinion about U7A, it is still the best 4K TV at this price point hands down, the screen brilliance / nits is awesome and Picture Quality is better than the competition and 120Hz at 1080p is a game changer :)

Didn't experience hisense yet but using 55" C6. Android is useful. You can sideload apps. Chromecast builtin. Speakers are very good. Clear differnece in sound as compared with normal led sound. Colors are good, hdr is ok as per led category. Negative point is backlight bleeding visible in dark room with dark scenes. Other then that i am pretty satisfied with it considering what I paid for it.
120hz can be useful with pc gaming i think. Ps4 games are locked at 60hz. Correct me if I am wrong.

Edit: Good read regarding 60hz vs 120hz

Yes you are correct, these two are different specs.

The original statement was made by me which he quoted. It has two parts, refresh rate AND input lag. U7A has 120 Hz refresh rate AND low input lag (31ms). Two things mentioned in one sentence, I hope it makes it clearer.

On the same subject, to clarify it further for everyone else, while refresh rate and input lag are two seperate speciafications of a panel, they make up the whole experience of how the user percieves his input in games to the output on screen. Higher refresh rate "gives" you a feeling that your actions are registered faster coz you can see the movement on screen at a higher refresh rate and it can make you think that higher refresh rate lowers input lag but these are two different things but closely related. Watch this video of Pros including Shroud and amateurs playing on different refresh rate monitors and their scores & reactions.

thats right but again to take advantage of a high refresh rate the content should support it to
whats the point of a 240 hz panel if the game is running by default at 30 fps...nothing on ps4 runs faster than 60 fps

They played all the games on PC.

On PC, most of the AAA shooters support unlimited FPS, all you need is to have a PC that can drive that much FPS and a monitor that can display that. In my experience with my PC on U7A, it is a better experience to game at 1080p@120HZ than 4K@60HZ. I can only imagine it would get better at 1440p@144HZ or 1080p@240HZ on a monitor.

I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.
