Dell S2716DG Not Waking Up

Aoa guys, hope you all are fine. I bought box open Dell S2716DG last month and it worked very well for few days but then causing problem. The problem is that monitor behaves like its in deep sleep HOWEVER DEEP SLEEP MODE IS DISABLE. No matter What I do monitor don't wake up with a fix pattern. Sometimes it wakes up by plunging and unplugging usb, sometimes it wakes up in an random attempt to open diagnostic mode, and sometimes its self open the factory setting mode.

I don't know what is wrong. I have changed DP Port cable and power cable so far and changed the DP Port on card as well. I am unable to find fix for this problem over internet. Any help is appreciated.

What is model revision of your led? Mine is A08 its written on the back of monitor where ports are.... Also did you updated its bios?

Please check photo on Google Drive link. I don't know what revision it is. There is another picture of factory mode and I don't know who it entered there.
Are you talking about monitor? I don't know how to updated it and if you are asking for motherboard then no I never update it.

Do you face the same problem?

I dont see any google drive link, yes i am talking about monitor bios update. This Led has issue of going in sleep mode that's why users disable the sleep mode in settings. I think if you update its bios issue will be resolved

You're Revision is A03, I never updated a monitor bios so i cant help you there but here is the link on official dell website

You should try to install latest drives for your GPU first. Maybe it helps, Also If you can return this monitor and get a latest revision maybe it will solve your issue as i said before these dell s2716dg have strange issues that is why there are so many revisions of it till

now the latest is A09.

Monitor was in checking warranty so I got it replaced with A08 Revision. Hope this work fine. InshaAllah

@MadDemon monitors don't have a bios. Why did you bring it up (post 2) and then say you don't know anything about it (post 6)? Were you confused about which thread you were replying to?

software that comes embedded in hardware is called firmware not bios. however i've never heard of anyone being able to update the firmware of a monitor.

Yeah i meant firmware, and people on reddit posted that updating the firmware has been beneficial for them. Dell posted on there official forms users can update there firmware and even showed the procedure for updates. I updated firmwares for many gadgets except montiors.

Thanks for info but I got my monitor replaced and problem solved.

    I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.
