Netflix streaming has improved but it is not perfect. Anyways, one thing I have noticed is that I am being routed through karachi rather than lahore. Due to this I am facing slow browsing by standards of GPON.

Yeah TES is like that. Their gateway is only in KHI so traffic from ISB and LHE is routed through Karachi first.

That's why pings to a server in Lahore or Islamabad will be 25 ms higher than normal.

Browsing wasn't slow for me tbh. I used Google DNS since it had the lowest latency of about 35 ms and it worked perfectly fine.

Yes, always get full speed on Netflix. Actually there is a CDN placed from Netflix for StormFiber. PTCL also has it. No idea about transworld. If you are facing browsing issues too then either your connection is being throttled heavily or may be there is some back end issue with your port. Try contacting their support, email them your speedtest and let them know that you are not getting the full speed as they have advertised.

I want to have NAT type 2 enabled on my connection. But TES wants me to fill this weird form called IP Justification form. In short they asking me for a static IP with charges of PKR 337 plus tax.
Anyone of you know any work around to get NAT type 2 enabled free of cost on TES ???

Haha they did the same thing with me. Bastards were forcing me to get static IP.

Just email them and ask them for NAT Type 2 for the purpose of online gaming. If your PC has Windows 10, open the Xbox App, go to settings and run a connection test. It will show Strict NAT Type.

Take a screenshot of that, send it to them and say you need NAT Type 2 for online gaming.

They'll switch you to the dynamic IP pool that isn't under a carrier grade NAT. Basically meaning that you'll get a real public address just like PTCL offers.

Told the above points to them but they are insisting that I should opt for static IP for 250 plus tax. According to them it is a requirement for getting NAT type 2 enabled.:fp1:

Yeah they will keep insisting. Do the same and keep telling them that it's not a requirement and you want dynamic IP but with NAT type 2.

Tell them if they don't change it, you'll complain to PTA.

Facing slow and inconsistent download speed on while torrenting. I have enabled UP&P in the routers menu but still the isssue persists. Anyone please help.

Are you on TES whats app group. I took advice from there and just sent screenshot of xbox multiplayer page on windows 10 showing connectivity issues. Act dumb and say its giving this NAT type issue kindly fix it. They will then automatically give you dynamic IP fo NAT 2.

Unfortunately they have changed there policy regarding NAT type 2. One should have to get static IP in order to enjoy NAT type 2. Greedy B@#$%%#$. Anyways, do you get inconsistent speed while torrenting ?? are you using your own router if so which model ???

its now compulsory for all to get static ip to get nat type 2, i was told this few days ago by a rep at TES, retail or residential 250 plus tax monthly ! shit service i know.

Guys I have decided to terminate my TES services due to these nat type 2 and stupid billing problems. I only used the service for like 8 or 9 days and they charged me for the whole month. Height of stupidity. Anyways, I got a call from ptcl today regarding GPON. I have decided to opt for 25 mbps package. They will come tomorrow for installation.
