Looks like a VR mansion where your objective is to escape or something ?

We have our own inhouse engine called NorthLight, there are some stylistic similarities but its not the QB version of the engine, much upgraded.

So you have abilities - not time manupilation.

It is not a VR mansion type game.

we call it a world within a location : basically the building is trippy as hell and transforms..

Looks good but it reminded me of the Infamous series in terms of gameplay. Let's see what's going to be unique in the coming days.
Actually I think so too...i.e a couple of abilities are slightly similar



The main thing about the game is "new -weird" ...so think stranger things vibe..

Finnish video game company Remedy presented the game industry at E3 in Los Angeles on Tuesday morning, Finland's newest game, Control , previously known only as the code name Project 7 or P7.

This is a third-person action adventure that promises to combine Remedy's "supernatural abilities" as a "trademarked action game".

The trailer is dark in color, and it
has already been interpreted that Control looks a little like Remedy had taken all the lessons he learned from Max Paynes , Alan Waka and Quantum Break and throwing them into the same suit.

Good question..It does look like QB cause 1) the actress (Courtney hope) has played a part in QB
2) The render style of our engine ( i.e alot of unreal or unity games look similar to eachother due to shaders and lighting)
3) The lighting and composition is highly stylized..to give it that "remedy look"
4) Our engine is really good at doing epic vfx

I'll buy this game just to support you :p

Also the game looks sick AF. Not sure if you guys remember Psi-Ops from the PS2 era but this reminds me alot of that. And i freakin loved Psi-ops. Always wanted a sequel to Psi-Ops and these feels even better.

Also the game looks sick AF. Not sure if you guys remember Psi-Ops from the PS2 era but this reminds me alot of that. And i freakin loved Psi-ops. Always wanted a sequel to Psi-Ops and these feels even better.
I was Mad for Psi-ops to, That cliffhanger ending made me even want it more... It was such an underrated game to a point that it is a crime not to play it. Its publisher Midway Games is also the one of my favorite developers in PS2 era.

I do quite a bit of stuff here. Lets simply put it like : Associate producer for shared services and for project

Shared services : Audio ( composers, inhouse/outhouse audio, musicians, foley, sfx, reverbs), then character tech, character art, gameplay animations, cinematic animations and vfx ( basically these teams are working on multiple projects = Control, Crossfire 2 and "other prototype projects" currently )) + pipelines, vision and design documentation updates for shared services

and for project i.e P7 or Control : production control of (title sequence, intro/outro, the breathing gun you saw (we call it service weapon), bosses, enemies, Actor management, Key art(or box art), credit list, xyz, - a thousand little small things) + pipelines, vision and design documentation updates for project

basically shared services are be shared between multiple projects

was this too detailed?

    I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.

    After I watched it, I never felt like i watched a show. It was a friggin journey. I got way too attached to Thorfinn and seeing him grow up and find himself and get rid of all the negativity inside of him was just pure bliss.
