Hello everyone. I've done BBA from Bahria university Islamabad and now I want to move abroad.

Which country would you guys recommend? Is it necessary to go on a student visa? Can't I just go to find work like Dubai where you just get visit visa, find work and then convert your visa? A little guidance will be appreciated.

Maybe abobobilly could elaborate on this topic too, given that he's been through the process.

Dont waste urself in Middle East if you dont have any skill other than a degree. Get urself any credible skill and spent some years in Pak and then move out to shine. Just a brotherly tip as i have been through all this. Again its just a suggestion. Good Luck

Have you looked into Canadian Immigration ? the express entry system is probably the most convenient immigration option you'll get. The cutt off points for invitations are lingering at 440 points at the moment , which to be honest aren't much , you can easily apply and check if your eligible. You can easily get 450+ points, which is more than enough, if you have a Master's degree , 3 years of experience , age between 24-29 years and an Ielts score of 8 in listening and rest 7 each in other modules. Lets say you dont have 3 years of experience and instead 1 year of experience you can still get 450 points if you have a Masters , age not more than 29, ielts score of 8,7,7,7.

If you are in a hurry and age is not on your side then you can search for other options such as a study visa etc. Or you could do your MBA along with a job and wait for a couple years and then go ahead and apply for the express entry skilled worker program.

The whole process will cost you around Rs.300,000

Umm yea, that's the guy I used to annoy back in my O and Alevels. Maybe he could be of help, once again. :laugh1:
Bhai ji .middle east is a wastage these days . Pakistanio ko yeh Arab ghas bhi nahi daltae .for Canada and USA you need a degree level qualification from their universities .warna altaf Hussain ki tarhae New York main taxi chlaoe gae . Australia walae bhi aajkal discourage karna shooro ho gae ha . U.K. waloe ne 9.11 ke bad pakistanio ko paki talaq di hui ha . Meri baat ager mantae ho to Pakistan main filhal koi job dhoondo aur sath hi mba karloe job ke sath . Waqt ke sath sath experience bhi ho ga aur aik aur degree bhi hath ajae gi to phir job bhi achi mil jae gi baad main .

canada only has agreement with 10 countries from where they accept qualification .for Pakistani degree he will have to do his bba again from Canada as Pakistani degree is not accepted in Canada . Beecahrae ko kha makha main taxi chalani paregi aur paisa bhi sarae kharch kar bethae ga

My Friend you have been misguided. Have you heard of World Education Service ? they provide Educational Credential Assessment services for foreign education credentials. Yes it would be difficult for him to find a job there with a Pakistani Degree because the Canadian/US/etc employers prefer local qualifications but that doesn't mean that they don't accept our educational qualification. He can apply for immigration through his Pakistani qualifications provided that he obtains an ECA from World Education Service which takes around 30 days and its quite convenient to take one

I think I'll be doing MBA here from Pakistan but the problem is with NUST's MBA. It's a full time program of 2 years, 2-5 are the hours and 5 days a week!! 5 DAYS!!!

I'll only suggest NUST if you are really good at your studies. MBA from NUST is tough.

Hey man. Got money? Anything's possible.

- GOT MONEY?: Able to spill some serious cash, say millions? USA, Canada and stuff. I'm sure others can give you a better idea about this.
- GOT MONEY?: Do some business instead. A small retail shop can still be extremely fruitful, given the right strategy.
- DON'T HAVE MONEY?: i.e. an ordinary PK citizen, looking for a job to support his family ... well, you're in for some real sh*t.

BBA gives you NOTHING, but a piece of paper, and (wasted) years behind your back. You will lack experience, confidence, patience and above all ... skills. The last part is extremely crucial, which almost all newcomers just do not have. For example, if your focus area is accounting and finance, you MUST have hands-on experience with some 'key' software such as SAP B1, FI, Oracle JDEdwards, QuickBooks, etc etc. THIS is what will make you valuable. Your degree can only 'assist' you in your valuation. Basically, "YOU" will get yourself a job. Your degrees won't.

Solution? Get some work experience in Pakistan. I am not talking about "Internships". You should most definitely start from internships, and try to start from multinational companies. Then work your way up. There is a big chance that you will get settled and have a decent job in your own country.

For what its worth, i had to leave Pakistan because of personal reasons, otherwise, i was perfectly happy with my life, earning just enough to make ends meet. I never wished for more money, as long as i am having a nice meal 3 times a day, able to give out some without any problem, and buy a few of the grocery for my family. ALHAMDULLILLAH.

And that should be a note to you as well. NEVER run behind money. It will ruin you in every way. Your morals, your priorities, or even your good night sleep. Focus on getting experience, start small, work your way upto top ... and one day, you will get there. Remember. Every dog has it's day. In this world, EVERYONE has their time to shine. It's promised by our creator. Before that time, you CANNOT and WILLNOT get anywhere.

With that being said, i would agree with ahsan below. Middle East has become a GoTo market for literally every tom dick and harry, from around the globe. Jobs are less, but the inflow of people is extremely high. Result? Prices go down. What you, as a Pakistani, will earn here in normal respectable jobs ... you can earn pretty much equivalent of that in your home country. Plus, you are able to save ... something which you just can't do here in Middle East anymore.

Anyway, I hope it's useful for you. And best of luck for your future prospects. It's a new race in your life. Don't run in this alone. Have your life partner with you to share your glory. Take it from me. Been through this sh*t.

I wanted to go abroad just because of the lifestyle I head from people or what I just saw myself in Dubai. Apart from that, I guess I'm getting you.

I'm confused between doing MBA and not doing it. We all want to get rid of education first and then do other things like marriage etc etc while I'm not forced for anything but I am not sure whether I should do it or not. ALHAMDULILLAH I've got enough capital to set up my own business.

haha bhai kaunsa lifestyle Abuses will lead to ban life ha :D
jo Youtube pe dekhte ho waisi zindagi guzarne k lye 100kAed should be your earning
or else you have to live in sharing so you can save some
if lifestyle is your charm you will get bored very quickly as jobs are tough there and there is uncertainty of it everyday

You will be far less valuable with an MBA and no experience, than with BBA and some experience. We have to let this attitude go, where we have to finish the studies first before getting on with the professional life. Speaking from personal experience here. I highly discourage this. People in western societies are way ahead of us until they finish their graduation.

About the life in UAE ... if you are getting good money here. It's brilliant. Safe. Exciting. But there is no future here. It's like a machine, where you just grind yourself in the beginning and come out ruined on the other end. It's an experience, so you should most definitely try it once in your life. BUT, do it when you have some experience in your hand. Inexperienced or Unskilled people should never come here, or risk losing their mind.

Yes you may not be able to fulfill your desires with low-paying jobs in PK, like nice car, latest tech or phones etc etc. But hold your horses until you get some experience. It's not all glitters as it looks on TV. Dubai is like a New York of UAE. It looks very exciting and catchy from afar. You will definitely be able to afford expensive stuff, without much problem as it's almost in your reach. BUT at the cost of what? Your family, friends, or your own life? You won't have enough time for yourself. So how you'll enjoy it? Think about it.

As for doing business ... it will still require you to have SOME sort of industry experience, to be able to properly grow. So there's that as well.

Hey man.

So you never did tell me what did you do afterwards?

Did you come back to UAE? Or settled in PK?

What is peoples obsession with Battle Royale genre. 6 minutes to find a match, 3 minutes to setup a match, 2 minutes to land, 10 minutes for scavanging maybe 2 3 gunfigts and its over. Multiplayer landscape is looking absolute dogshit.
I tried playing Apex Legends once. Couldn't find a gun for 5 minutes straight. If I found a gun, I couldn't find the right ammo for it. Got killed fighting with my fists. Uninstalled it the next day.
