hello.......................
Firstly, I would want you to clarify your current status. What are you currently studying?

Secondly, what do you exactly mean by career prospects of BS A&F with respect to ACCA/CA? Do you mean to ask how good a combination the specific BS with ACCA/CA would turn out to be or are you asking which one's better of the two?

As far as the difference between a BS in A&F and ACCA is concerned, ACCA is a well rounded course that covers subjects from Finance to Audit and Taxation. As the BS mainly focuses A&F, it is less likely going to touch upon areas other than fundamental accounting and finance. If you see yourself pursuing your majors in A&F from a well reputed university in Pakistan, I'd suggest you go with BS A&F from one of the good business universities in Pakistan that actually comprehensively cover the subjects in the modules they offer.

When going for a BS/MS program, it is very important to have a look at the course overview so you know which specific modules they offer.

my current status : FSC Pre-eng done with it now looking for a career/degree choice in BBA , BS A&F or least possibly ACCA/CA
initially i was going for BBA but then read somewhere that BBA is more generalized and BS A & F would be a better choice in terms of skills and employment also for a future in the field Abroad

by career prospects i would be asking that would plain BS A&f be good for a choice or i will have to venture into ACCA/CA later. So yes i would be asking about both only bs a&f or bs a&f + ca/acca
though it would be stupid to do 4yrs bs A &F and then do ACCA from scratch or if CA then 3 yrs more of khuwari of articles

I have primarily two universities i am thinking i can choose from for now
1.FCCU LAHORE they don't offer bs A&F but a BS business with specialization in A&F , operations management , HR or marketing if you mind looking at the course outline for me i would be really thankful
bs business general course outline BS (Hons) Business Program

http://www.fccollege.edu.pk/wp-content/uploads/2013/03/ROAD-MAP-FOR-BUSINESS-STUDENTS.pdf

specialization courses Accounting & Finance

2. FAST NUCES lhr or fsd campus it does offer Bs A& F though only the lahore campus bs A&f is now accredited with ACCA offering 7 paper exemption to fast bs A& F graduates
here is its BS A &F course outline FAST-NU - Admissions

Course outline for FAST didn't open for me due to some error but I understand that both these universities are well established. The program offered by FCCU looks just okay. Personally, I would suggest looking into the one offered by FAST after comparing the modules with that of FCCU.

I would strongly recommend specializing in operations management or project management. Once you're done with your BS, you will be in a much better position to decide if pursuing Masters in, maybe, project management suits you best or if it's a certification such as PMP or CMA that will complement it better.

in short, don't plan too far ahead just yet. Sure, it's always good to plan beforehand but it's important to not lose track of what lies just ahead of you. For now, definitely pursue your bachelors rather than delving into a certification. ACCA and CA aren't exactly specialized certifications which is why I recommend PMP or CMA after your BS or even MS if you decide to pursue Masters instead of a certification.

ALWAYS be on the lookout for internships/entry level jobs relevant to your field starting from the second year of your BS. Remember that your qualifications hold little to no merit without hands on practical experience. The more exposure to the industry you get, the better your chances of landing a proper, sufficiently rewarding job once you're done with your studies.

what do you mean by modules ? do you mean the course outline?
Regarding internships fccu has compulsory internship in its 6th semester though they charge 10,000 for giving you an internship :p
and again is bs a & f better than a BBA?

Yes, I implied the course structure. Again, the worth of the internship matters so it would be important to enquire where you would be working as an intern. If it a reputable place that actually offers a comprehensive internship session, it's wise to go ahead with FCCU.

I'm unable to comment For sure on which is better of the two, though, BBA or BS A&F. If I ever to go out on a limb and pick one, it would be BS A&F if it's from NUST, LUMS or IBA. Again, it's crucial to study that course structure before you make your choice.

If you want to keep your options regarding jobs in sales and marketing in addition to accounting and finance only then go for BBA/BS a&f.
If you are certain that you want to work in accounting and finance in the future then it is better to go for ACCA/CA directly rather than going through the exemptions route as that would be more time consuming. You can always do your ACCA and then get the BS a&f degree of oxford brookes by doing that case study after you have cleared F1-F9

ICAEW is one hell of a ride. Ive done ACCA but in none of the exams did i ever feel the time pressure as much as the ICAEW Advanced Level exam puts you through.

Was barely able to complete 70% to 80%. Any idea about people passing by attempting this much before?

There are several institutes in PECHS namely Alhamd academy, Tabbani's School of Accountancy, KnS, ARTT etc. In clifton, there's Escribir.

What's your location? I think PECHS will be more convenient as it is centrally located.
