This has been a silly season, it could happen. But there's a lot of factors involved and FIA will have to basically change the whole goddamn set of rules that governs F1.

Costs in F1 can't be brought down to the level where its a bit fair for the smaller teams. F1 is at the top of motorsports, they can't put a bar on innovation. Engine freeze should be lifted, it should remain during the season but when the season ends the freeze should lift till the start of next season.

Bernie has it in his head that major teams should field 3 cars and because bernie is bernie I see that happening in 2016 if not 2015.

Usually the press conferences are filled with rhetoric and vague answers, but yesterday's Team Principals' one was absolutely superb. Lots of arguments and equally fair counter-arguments being made, and most of it in an understanding and civilized manner. I urge you guys to see it in its entirety.

So Honda offered less money, and Alonso didn't sign off the Ferrari contract. So essentially, Ferrari has 3 drivers employed for next year, which leaves Alonso with 2 options at this moment -
a) sign-off his contract with Ferrari and sign with McLaren-Honda, another team, or even take a sabbatical. OR
b) make Ferrari terminate his contract themselves so could receive $30million (the worth of his remaining contract) and then go off to McLaren-Honda or whatever.

So, in either cases he will be getting less salary from McLaren-Honda then he might have. But Alonso being Alonso, usually gets what he wants. We might hear some concrete news this weekend.

I don't know why but i liked Alonso at Ferrari, even this season wasn't his best but it was mainly due to the car he was in. Still had a few excellent races, i would have liked a stronger ferrari with Alonso in it for next season.

As for Vettel i guess its clear why he is leaving, Ricciadro? Ya

BTW its sad to see Marussia go into administration, they were certainly better than Sauber and Caterham this season.

Also the idea of fielding three cars per team is stupid, the lower tier teams hardly survive in F1 with 2 cars how would they coupe with 3

Rosberg has topped all practice and qualifying sessions in Brazil. I hope he wins tomorrow, so we get a closer finish in Abu Dhabi Double.

Can't see it happening in next 2-3 years. Even if the engine freeze is lifted, Mercedes themselves won't stand still either.

Jules Bianchi transferred to French hospital as condition improves

Jules is out of induced-coma however, hes still unconscious.

Jules Bianchi has been transferred to a French hospital and is no longer in an induced coma, the injured French Formula 1 driver's family said in a statement on Wednesday.
The statement said: "Jules is no longer in the artificial coma in which he was placed shortly after the accident, however he is still unconscious.

"He is breathing unaided and his vital signs are stable, but his condition is still classified as 'critical'. His treatment now enters a new phase concerned with the improvement of his brain function.

"Jules' neurological condition remains stable. Although the situation continues to be serious, and may remain so, it was decided that Jules was sufficiently stable to be repatriated to his native France."

Lewis wins his second WDC. Well deserved, feel for Nico though. I'm sure they both will return better next year.

Yeah, being in a car a second quicker per lap than anyone else helps. Hope the others get their act together and we see the engines unfreeze.

Rosberg has made far too many mistakes, especially while leading.Cr edit to him though, he's been immense in qualy this year against the fastest driver on the grid, and I'm sure he'll return much stronger in races next year. He seems like a good learner.
