Played it for a good few hours ( Didn't get into the beta, tricked EA using a fake keycode). Definitely a fun game, but I see it dying like Titanfall did unless they introduce some really good gamemodes or the equivalent of a Conquest type game mode for Cops and Robbers. It is extremely fast paced, looks as good as you'd expect, plays smooth and at the start you feel like you're playing something new and refreshing. The desire to learn the game is something BF4 didn't have, because I already played enough BF3 to know the basics. This game, however, with its cops and robbers theme and diverse gameplay has a bit of a learning curve, albeit its still part of the Battlefield series we know and love. You could call it a BF4 mod, and you'd be right. It looks like BF4, but plays nothing like its predecessor. Hardcore fans will probably not enjoy it for its rather 'unserious' approach, but the digression from the Military theme is a good move and makes this game feel less competitive and more fun. Overall, I don't see myself paying $60 for this game, but it's worth trying. If they reveal enough compelling features, especially maps and gamemodes, then I might buy it shortly after release.

waaaattttt Titanfall dead? where have you been playing mate? Conquest wouldnt really fit in with the theme of Cops and Robbers. As for more game modes, ofc there will be in the final game since it is Closed Beta right now. Combine the final game with premium, you will have like 10 game modes to play. Yes it does feel like a BF4 mod and as much as i love the series, i dont think i will be pre ordering this one like the all the previous games

in another note: GET REKT!!

I believe this will be a fun game for a short while.

The car chases and game modes sound fun but I don't have high hopes.

Mostly because Battlefield 4 is an utter disaster. Hopefully Hardline wouldn't be such a disapointment

I'm a Titanfall fan, even bought the Season pass, but let's be honest: The amount of attention it got in February and March has seen a rapid decline. The game itself gets boring after a while. We all know it lacks in gamemodes, guns and diverse gameplay, but I digress. As for CQ not fitting, I understand what you mean, that's why I said something equivalent to it, because in the end that's what makes Battlefield what it is. I'm not asking for a large-scale military war, but with cops and robbers costume, only for some more classic game modes that will keep me playing. Not sure about the modes climbing up to 10, though. Not that it's necessary, as long as they can add enough maps and features.

they have already announced 4 game modes, im sure more will follow soon. Personally i feel they should have added diversity to the game modes in Closed Beta, Heist and Blood Money feel quite similar and they should have replaced one with Hotwire

I downloaded the torrent from KAt.ph and then replaced the files in origin folder. It is around 6.53GB

But the game is aweful. I suggest to not waste anytime. It is a cheap BF4 MOD.

I am doing the same. Downloading the "3DM" one, which is like 5.77GB. I am guessing thats because of compression.

Never liked BF4, so really not keeping up my hopes high. But free BETA hay ... so :hah:

faraany3k! Can you guide me how to make origin detect my game files i have separately downloaded? Everytime this fucking Origin detects my game, but ony detects till 1.42GB, then removes the files i have copied over ... and starts downloading again (after 1.42GB).

I hate this shit software so much.

Tried the Beta on PS4 and hated it. I prefer BF 4 over it, which is still fun. This one was boring and mundane.
