So I'm on Nayatel and I got IP banned twice in 2 days by the PTA for using VoIP - except I've never done that. So I called up Nayatel support and they assigned me a new IP on each occasion. The only explanation they could provide was that I was probably on IPs that had been banned before, which is why they were shut down again. They also told me the two things that can get you IP banned are VoIP usage and excessive email output.

In any case, I've never done either, and I've been IP banned twice now. Going to be fucking annoyed if this happens a third time, cuz I have no idea how to stop it and it seems to be beyond Nayatel to help me on this issue.

hey strikerx, is PTCL related to PTA in anyway? I don't suppose PTCLCares could unblock Nayatel IPs, could it?

Oh so thats why i am unable to see Disqus comments on sites like Android Police or ProPakistani etc. Its been 2 days or so.

Hats off to the "intelligent minds" over at PTA. Grade A k chawal bharti kiye huay hain haram khoron ne. Apparently don't know jack about technical stuff.

What IP?

And like I said before PTCLCares guy is in a 'position' in PTCL which can get things fast tracked from PTA. So when a block lifts from PIE, it gets unblocked for all ISP's, not just PTCL. That is why I am asking you guys to message him.

emailing at the PTA email might work or might not cause that is for official requests from ISP's, not really public. Message or tweet to PTCLCares, doesn't matter.

Well I tweeted the dude about Gawker and The Verge, as is with wikia and disqus.

Wikia seems to be working in short intervals.

Another day another piece of my liberty striped away. Funny way of saying good morning, eh pta?

Never gonna happen, there are other serious issues which no one gives a damn about..Everyone is gonna whine a month or 2 months and then they are going to get used to it :(
