Contacted the seller via the number provided in the ad. We had a brief chat on the price which remained fixed at 33k as advertised. I had a colleague of mine in Lahore make the exchange and before that he was kind enough to test the cpu and mobo and send me pics via whatsapp. Everything was boxed and supplied as had been mentioned and works just as advertised.
A very smooth deal with a friendly seller. Would definitely deal again with him in the future.

An h2h deal was preferred so he sent his colleague to pick the Package.
And sure the 10400F is a good buy, performance is near identical. But the K model is OC'able for some extra juice. Not sure if that worth anything to anyone.
Can't see what they are selling for as the prices are deleted from Pakgamers. Not sure what this trend is here on PG but they remove the price with "SOLD". It would be very useful if they would keep some info. On sites like OLX the ad just disappears after it is sold. How much do you think they sell for? Any idea? I'm trying to get rid of mine lol.
It's not. Don't look what people are asking for. Look for what they are actually being sold for. Even i5 10400f would be a better option for someone who would consider 8700k. Advanced platform, better resale, better performance per watt
A brand new ryzen 5600 can be had for <40K and is similar performance if not faster than an 8700K. So why is the market value high for an almost 6 year old processor?
I see ads selling same or similar parts for ~45-50K. A 12400 is faster than this and can be had brand new for roughly the same price. I am confused as to the market value of such a processor. These are 5+ years old now.
Hey everyone! Let me ask you guys something. How much would a used 8700K + Z370 board go for in the marketplace? Contemplating an upgrade but unsure of my budget
